We know it is tradition to be spoilt and spoil others over Christmas but please remember some of your favourite foods during this time may be poisonous or dangerous to your pet should you share some with them, these include, but not limited to;
- Raisins/Grapes/Sultana/Currents – So NO Christmas Pudding
- Onions – Often found in stuffing
- Bones – Cause sharp splinters which can result in gut perforation or a foreign body
Please also consider that anything your pet isn’t used to in their daily diet can cause gastroenteritis, resulting in vomiting and diarrhoea.
